There will be a Buffet Style Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, September 11th at the Nolalu Community Centre, 2266-Hwy. 588, Nolalu. Take-Out is from 3 to 5pm and Eat-In is from 5pm to 7pm. On October 2nd at the Port Arthur Prosvita there will be a traditional Oktoberfest for the Kidney Foundation. Tickets are $10 and include a traditional bratwurst and sauerkraut and a pretzel. There will be a Plowing Match held at the Agriplex on Hwy 130, on September 11, 2010. This is a public event where local farmers come out and plow their plots and are judged. The winners can go on to the Canadian and the World Championships.
