Tim Allen says there's potential for a "Home Improvement" spinoff...

Tim Allen says there's talk about a "Home Improvement" spinoff.  The show originally aired for eight seasons on ABC, from 1991 to 1999.

Quote, "One of the conversations we've had recently is how weird it would be if [the show] would be about the kids' kids.  Like if all of them had children, and I'm a grandparent.  'Home Re-Improvement' or something like that."

Tim says he never felt like the story was done.  Quote, "It never felt right.  In the time off, [the cast] got real close where we talked to everybody."
